Metal left in its solid state has no chance of becoming a pipe. To transform it into the desired shape and structure, the material needs to be heated up until it becomes molten. Using a continuous drawing process, the molten metal is pulled into an elongated strand that is then passed through a variety of dies which reduce its size and shape it into a seamless pipe production line. With this approach, any seamlessly joined pipes can be created with great precision.

Once a span of metal is sufficiently heated until pliable, it can be accustomed to the process of creating a solid billet capable of yielding a seamless pipe. To arrive at this stage, the heated metal must be rolled through a series of increasingly slender cylinders, gradually diminishing its width until it reaches its ideal contour.

Once the metal slab has been flattened to the desired girth, it is taken and melted in a furnace until it reaches its liquefied state. The heated metal is then stretched and twisted into a lengthy form referred to as an ingot before being navigated through a series of dies. These dies progressively narrows its width to attain the desired shape of a pipe.

After forming, the pipe is cooled and cut to its ideal size. Seamless pipes tend to reign supreme in fields requiring strong, uninterrupted support in the face of extreme pressure or strain. As such, they are favoured in several industries due to their remarkable durability and lack of joins or connections.
