The manufacturing of seamless honed pipes involves a precise process. A pipe is drawn through a die with the exact bore and wall thickness, followed by honing of the inner surface for the desired finish. The outer surface of the pipe remains unchanged.

After a solid round steel billet is heated to a blistering 2200F, it is pierced in the center to form a hollow shell.
